    summer camp?
This summer camp was fun. We learned about geology and how to use GPSs. I think going to Umstead Park and geocaching was fun this week. I would want to go to another Geoscience camp. -Shreya

On our poster board, we decorated, colored, and put many pictures and diagrams on it. Anuraag, Dalton, Kacey, and Tray all did a part of the work for the poster board. Also, everyone had a job while interviewing and finding garden areas. The 15 people we interviewed helped and we displayed it on our poster board.

Final thoughts about our GIMS Program or the summer camp?
Today, we all made a plan how we were going to make our presentation. There were three choices, and they were, Mills, Experiments, and Fault Line. We researched some facts and looked at our waypoints we made for the fault zone! Then we typed our facts and found our pictures. We worked as a team and disided what are tittle would be. The poster turned out nice and colorful. The whole goescience thing has been ok and i liked it aside from waking up so early during the summer and it being so hot out and this what a great experience over all. It was fun to come in and learn so many new things and meet so many new people. We had a great time on all of our feild trips and reschearing so many things about the places we went to see. We learned a lot indivudualy and together, we also learned a lot about diffeent people. We learned about different ypes of rocks and soil and the eart in general.

    summer camp?
Kacey: I think this camp was great

This morning our group went straight outside after everyone in the group came. On our walk we interveiwed about 10 people that passed by. We asked them 3 questions about the fault zone
and glad I goined. Now I knowlocal geologic materials in buildigs. Trey was the TRUE meaning of geology, which is pretty muchone interveiwing the science of rocksstudents and it's pretty fun. I also learned howstaff at first then Dalton finished up the fob. When we got back to use a GPS (even though they can be slow). I learned that NC State isthe room we starte on the poster board. It took the group a total of about 11 hours. The poster for the Nutbush Creek Fault Zone. If I hadn't gone to this camp, I probably would've never knew leucogneisspresentation was magnetic, or even know what it was! I think it is important to have geology (even if it makes you sweat in the summer!).finally finished at around 3:00pm.
